Friends

Connect with classmates to see each other's study activity, compete on leaderboards, and motivate each other in real time.

Adding a friend

  1. Go to Friends in the navigation
  2. Tap Add friend (top-right)
  3. Search by username, email, or name
  4. Tap Send request

The other person gets a notification and can accept or decline.

Accepting requests

Open Friends → Requests to see pending incoming requests. Tap Accept or Decline.

What you can see

Once connected, you can see on your friend's profile:

  • Whether they are currently studying (shown with a live indicator)
  • Their study hours today and this week
  • Their current streak
  • Their level and recent achievements

Your friends can see the same about you. Adjust what's visible under Settings → Privacy.

POR pings

A POR (from Dutch por, a friendly nudge) is a quick encouragement tap you can send to a friend who is actively studying.

  1. Find an active friend in your list (shown with the live indicator)
  2. Tap the POR button next to their name
  3. They receive a notification on their device

One POR per friend every 30 minutes. You can send another after the cooldown expires.

Friend suggestions

Study-Track suggests people you might know based on mutual friends and your institution. Find them under Friends → Discover.

Removing a friend

Open a friend's profile card and tap Remove friend. This removes the connection on both sides silently.

Limits

You can have up to 200 friends.
