Importing Your Timetable
Instead of adding classes one by one, you can import your university timetable in seconds. Study-Track reads ICS files: the standard calendar format used by most university scheduling systems: and converts them into colour-coded events in your week view.
Supported sources
| Source | Guide |
|---|---|
| Smartschool | Smartschool import |
| TimeEdit | TimeEdit import |
| Any ICS file | Manual / file upload |
If your university's scheduling system isn't listed, use the manual import: any system that exports a standard .ics file will work.
What gets imported
- Class events: lectures, tutorials, labs, seminars
- Subjects: each unique course is created with an auto-assigned colour
- Activity types: labels like "Lecture" or "Lab" from your source timetable
Cancelled events and hidden entries from your source system are not imported.
Where to find import settings
Go to Settings → Timetable to manage all your import sources.
Re-importing / updating
If your timetable changes mid-semester:
- Go to Settings → Timetable
- Tap Re-import next to the source
- Study-Track fetches the latest data and updates your events
Removing an import
- Go to Settings → Timetable
- Tap the import source
- Tap Delete all events from this source
This only removes events from that specific import. Events you added manually are not affected.
Deleting an import source is permanent. You can always re-import, but any manual edits you made to imported events will be lost.
